Ghost Town for Sale

The owner of 46 acres of land in South Dakota is putting it all up for sale. It just happens to include a creepy ghost town of abandoned old cottages, bars and restaurants.

The once populated village, named Scenic, looks like it may be haunted. It was a railroad stop during the old west days of cowboys and horses. When employment opportunities dried up, people began moving out in droves. Eventually it was completely deserted.

Now it’s home only to the wind and whispers of previous residents as you walk through the desolate alleys. For $799,000, one can own the whole place.

It would be a great location to shoot a horror film.
