Classic paintings have their very own life, especially when you see them up close in person. But these have taken on new lives in real people. They’ve been recreated down to the detail. Colors, clothing, expressions and texture are converted into a photograph replicating the look and feel of the original art.
Art can be made from anything. Any kind of material, physical, digital or quadrical. These images were photographed at just the right moment to capture matches making fire and smoke into a symbol or narrative. An interesting method, and the outcome is very nice to look at.
Illusions are created through tricks of perspective and space in these artworks. You see something that can’t be there even while your eyes fall into another dimension. I hope this street art is seen by many people before it disappears from the face of the earth.
